BHAKTAPUR, Sept 20: Large crowds have gathered at the Saptarhishi Temples in Bhaktapur on Thursday on the occasion of the Rhishi Panchami day within Teej festival.
As per the tradition of worshiping Saptarishis (seven saints) by taking holy bath early in the morning, a large number of women thronged the temples from early morning at the Saptarhishi temples in Gupteswor Mahadev Temple at Sirutar and Changunarayan temple of Bhaktapur today.
Similarly, crowds of devotees are gathered in the Shiva temples including the Dattatraya and Doleswor Ashapuri temple of Bhaktapur, since morning. The women are celebrating by worshiping as well as by singing dancing.
