KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Vanesa Inc -- personal care products manufacturing company of India -- on Monday introduced a wide range of body spray, deodorants and perfume under the brand name Denver for men and Vanesa for women in the Nepali market.
"The newly introduced range will cater to the growing demand for both male and female personal care products in the local market," said Shashi Chibber, general manager of Vanesa Inc.
According to the company, the new launches were done based on the findings of a survey by Vanesa Inc, which reckons that consumers in Nepali market also are pretty concerned about their appearances and go for products that enhances their personality. "The findings motivated us to launch our products in Nepal," said Chibber.
Denver deodorants body spray and perfumes launched for men include series like Denver Rock On, Original, Hamilton, Passion, Sport Dark, Envy Rush and Envy Fiery, among others. Similarly, Vanesa deodorants and perfumes meant for female include Vanesa Aqua, Mint, Wild Orchid, Magic Potion, Enigma, Touché, Wisher and Rio, among others.
All the newly introduced products are priced in a range of Rs 150 to Rs 500 in the local market, said Roshan Bista, sales manager of Ganapati Overseas, the sole authorized distributors of Vanesa Inc products in Nepal.
"In all our products, we guarantee 1000 sprays, which no other brands available in the market provide," claimed Bista. The company says its deodorants and perfumes come in multiple fragrances, enabling customers to pick fragrance of their choice. The company claims the fragrances last till 10 to 12 hours.
"Each product goes through strict quality control," said Chibber.
Apart from the body spray deodorants and perfumes, the company also launched Denver washing soap, which is available at 75 grams pack and priced at Rs 32.
Ganapati Overseas has been selling Vanesa Inc´s products in the local market for the last five years. It has 21 dealers throughout the country and a network of 500 retail outlets.
