MPRF-D, TDMP leaders hold talks on party unification

KATHMANU, Sept 25: The Madhesi Peoples’ Rights Forum-Democratic (MPRF-D) and Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) held a talk in a bid to the unification of the two parties.
MJF (Loktantrik) General Secretary Jitendra Dev said the talk was held as part of a process to unify the parties. He added that they would continue the talks to this regard.
Similarly, TMLP Joint General Secretary Jitendra Sonal said his party was for the formation of a single party with the unification of different political forces.
Chairman of MPRF-D Bijay Kumar Gachchadar, Vice-Chairman Rameshwor Ray Yadav and General Secretary Dev while TMDP´s Co-Chairman Hridayesh Tripathi, Joint General Secretary Sonal and central member Pushpa Thakur attended the meeting.
