DHADING, Oct 9: One person has been killed by burglars in Tipling VDC 8, here in the district on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Dhan Bahadur Ghale, 50.
An unidentified gang had attacked Ghale and his wife Marbate killing him on the spot and seriously injuring his wife in the incident, informed police.
The gang had looted two tolas of gold from the couple. According to a local, Prem Tamang, Ghale´s neighbors found Marbate in an unconscious state early this morning.
The incident site is three days´ walk from the district headquarters. A police team from Sertung police post has been dispatched to the mishap site.
Police are making arrangements to bring the injured to the district headquarters for treatment as there is no health post in the village, the district police office informed
