KATHMANDU: Young journalist Tara Regmi, 26, of News 24 TV died of heart attack on Tuesday. According to family sources, Regmi´s sister and neighbors rushed him to Tribhuvan University (TU) Teaching Hospital after he complained of chest pain early morning.
The hospital pronounced him dead upon arrival at around 4 am. Regmi, son of Sewakram Regmi and Tika Regmi, was born in 1986 in Tulsipur Municipality of Dang district.
He had been working at News 24 Television since its establishment as an anchor and producer. He had returned home after reading the business news at 11 pm on Monday.
