  50 SPs, 133 DSPs of Nepal Police transferred

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Nepal Police headquarters on Thursday transferred 50 superintendents of police (SPs) and 133 deputy superintendents of police (DSPs).

The spokesperson for Nepal Police, Binod Singh informed about the transfers of the police officers that were pending for long due to the headquarters’ tussle with home ministry.

Among the transferred SPs, Sher Bahadur Basnet has been sent to Jhapa, Niraj Bahadur Shahi to Morang, Surya Prasad Upadhyay to Dhankuta, Mahendra Kumar Pokhrel to Udayapur, Bikram Gurung to Siraha, Sanjay Kumar Singh Basnet to Saptari, Pawan Prasad Kharel to Mahottari and Basanta Kumar Panta to Dhanusha.

Similarly, Mahesh Bikram Shah has been transferred to Rautahat, Pitambar Adhikari to Birgunj, Gupta Bahadur Shrestha to Makwanpur, Dipal Lumar Thapa to Chitwan, Gita Upreti to Kavre, Kamal Bahadur GT to Nawalparasi and Hari Bahadur Pal to Rupandehi.
