KATHMANDU, Oct 12: A team of entrepreneurs on Friday met CPN-UML President Jhalanath Khanal and requested him to show flexibility for the sake of forging consensus among political parties to form a new government and end political impasse at the earliest.
"The entrepreneurs apprised the UML leader of the present business situation in the country. They requested Khanal to take initiative for ending political impasse in the country," reads a press released issued by FNCCI.
The team led by FNCCI President Suraj Vaidya also included industrialists Jagdish Rathi and Shekhar Golcha, among others.
Responding to the business leaders, Khanal said the political parties were working closely to end the long-running political impasse. He also said the political parties were discussing the possibility of bringing full-fledged budget for fiscal year 2012/13.
