KATHMANDU, Oct 13: After Little Miss World Nepal, Nepalese Council is bringing to Nepal another international pageant for young girls.
Girls from ages 14 to 19 years can now participate in the Miss T.E.E.N. Pageant (Teens Exemplifying Excellence Nationally) which will be held in Houston, Texas, in USA.
Deependra Ratna Shakya, Executive Director of Nepalese Council, informed that entry forms will be available from Monday.
“We’re going to drop the forms at around 30 schools and colleges. The forms can also be downloaded from our website and can also be accessed through our Facebook account,” he informed.
The auditions for Miss Teen Nepal Pageant will start at the end of December.
The Miss Teen Nepal Pageant will be held on February 2, 2013 after which the title holder will fly to the US to participate in the Miss T.E.E.N. Pageant on June 24 in 2013.
The pageant, the press release further states, is not a traditional beauty pageant but is aimed at acknowledging the talented young lady who will be representing Nepal in the international arena and adds one forward step to promoting Nepali tourism and culture internationally.
