  If dreams could come true

REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: We nurture countless dreams and wishes, some of which come true, while others remain as distant as dreams generally are. But, what if you wished something and it came true? If money was not an issue, what are the dreams you want fulfilled?

Sounding very practical, Anil Joshi shares on our Facebook page, “I would go to London for my Master’s.” Yogesh Shrestha, a student of Bachelor’s in Business Management, Thames International College, says, “I would launch my own music album.”

Nabin Acharya would like to go on a world tour.

Rupak Sunuwar echoes Acharya’s wishes. “I would travel to every corner of the world and even to space, just to take a look at our planet from there,” says Sunuwar.
It would surely be wonderful to realize the dreams we have held within us for a long time.

Then, there are some like Dipendra and Ekta who want to be change-makers.

Dipendra Paudyal says, “Well, if money wasn’t an issue, then my dream of reducing sufferings and deprivation in society would be fulfilled, because then I could easily get into a medical college and become a doctor.”

Ekta Mishra, 24, a recent graduate of Bachelor in Business Administration from Nepal Commerce Campus, says, “I would love to go to all the places in our country where education is not prioritized and teach people there. I will launch awareness programs and try to uplift the status of children through free education until they take their SLC examinations.”
