  NC leader Tamang against single identity-based federalism

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Bhim Bahadur Tamang on Tuesday claimed that there should not be single identity-based federalism in the country.

Speaking at a tea reception program in the capital, Tamang argued that the state has to be restructured based on multiple identities to maintain social and communal harmony in th country.

Saying that there is no point reviving the Constituent Assembly that could not draft the new constitution, the NC leader stressed on need to go for fresh CA elections.

Tamang also said his party should get to lead the next government that would conduction the new elections.
