  BIZ BRIEFS: Ncell to introduce nano SIM in Nov

KATHMANDU : Ncell is introducing nano SIM card by early November, the private GSM operator said in a statement on Tuesday. Nano SIMs are smaller than the regular SIMs and they are used in Apple´s iPhone 5. "As of now customers are cutting their SIM cards which has resulted in damaged SIM cards that needs to be replaced and also in some case some specific features are not working with the cut SIM cards,” the statement added.

Real introduces festival gift pack
KATHMANDU : Real fruit juice has introduced festival gift packs for the first time in Nepal. According to a press statement issued by the company, the Real festival gift pack comes with attractive outer packaging and is specially made to cater for gifting during the festival season of Dashain and Tihar. Dabur Nepal is launching two different packs -- ´Book Pack´ which contains 3 units of 1 litre Real juice and the other one in ´Hut Shaped Pack´ which contains 10 packs of different variants of 200 ml Real Juice. The Book Pack is priced at Rs 530 while the Hut Pack is priced at Rs 275. The gift packs are available in major supermarkets and selected outlets in the major cities, said the statement.

Power Plus opens showroom at UWTC
KATHMANDU: Power Plus, which deals on Kipor generators, opened its showroom at United World Trade Center (UWTC), Tripureshwar, from Tuesday. Issuing a statement, the company said the showroom located on the ground floor was inaugurated by Mist Nepal 2012 Shristi Shrestha. Consumers purchasing or booking Kipor generators during the festive season till Tihar can get gold or silver coins and get one year warranty, according to the statement.

HH Bajaj upgrades Gorkha showroom

KATHMANDU: HH Bajaj has upgraded its showroom in Gorkha. According to a press statement issued by the company, Bajaj has upgraded Suren Heart Yatayat, an advanced showroom in Chinese Dhara, Gorkha. The showroom has provisions for sales and service along with the availability of genuine spare parts of Bajaj motorcycles, said the statement. Customers can choose to buy Bajaj motorcycles of 11 different models from the showroom. Shekhar Golchha, executive director of HH Bajaj. To celebrate inauguration of the upgraded showroom, he handed over Bajaj Boxer 150cc to District Police Office, Gorkha.

IME opens another outlet
KATHMANDU : International Money Express (IME), a remittance company, has opened another IME Center in Banasthali of Kathmandu. IME CEO Suman Pokharel inaugurated Anish Sub Remit, the 9th IME Center in Kathmandu, amid a function held on Tuesday, says a company statement. With this opening, the number of IME centers currently in operation throughout the country has reached 37. IME Center is an exclusive agent outlet that provides various customer services. IME intends to open 100 IME Centers within the current fiscal year.

First Microfinance to extend 16% cash dividend
KATHMANDU: First Microfinance Development Bank has decided to extend 15.79 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from earnings made till last fiscal year, according to a statement issued by the microfinance institution. The decision was approved by the microfinance company´s third annual general meeting held in Kathmandu on Monday. The meeting also unanimously elected Bamdev Gauli and Yubaraj Chhetri to the post of board directors representing public shareholders, says the statement.

Manjushree Finance turns six
KATHMANDU : Manjushree Financial Institution has completed five years of operation. In these years, the financial institution has collected Rs 1.07 billion in deposits and extended Rs 870 million in loans, says a company statement. The company with a paid-up capital of Rs 225 million is operating through its headquarters in New Baneshwar and branch offices located in Khichapokhari of Kathmandu and Narayanghat
