KATHMANDU, Oct. 22: Litterateur and media person Govinda Bartaman passed away Monday morning in course of treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
He was 52.Litterateur Bartaman who had a problem of piles and high blood-pressure was admitted to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, according to litterateur Harigovinda Luintel.
His last rites were performed at the Pashupati Aryaghat today. Bartaman´s eight-year-old son Agreem lit his funeral pyre.Litterateur Bartaman is survived by his spouse, a daughter and a son.
