LAHAN, Oct 29: A couple died in a road accident on Sunday in Siraha along the East West Highway. Sisar Chaudari and his wife Anila of of Theliya VDC-1 were killed after a bus (Ja 1Kha 653) struck the motorcycle (Ba 59 Pa) they were riding.
While Anila died on the spot, Sisar breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Neuro hospital in Biratnagar. According to the police, the over speeding bus struck Chaudhari coupl´e motorbike from behind.
Accidents are quite common in this road section where 18 people have lost their lives in the last three and half months. Out of the total causalities, 14 were motorcyclists.
