LAHAN, Oct 30: A free health camp has been conducted in Lahan by a team of  doctors from the US starting Tuesday.

A forty-member team of specialists from Aloha Medical Mission, Hawaii along with 11 doctors from Nepal has started to examine patients from this morning.

The patients will benefit from the health camp for ten days, informed Bijay Gupta, a member of the organizational team.

The camp will primarily focus on people from underprivileged, backward and dalit communities, who cannot afford medical treatment, Gupta said.

The doctors will perform major surgeries on 200 patients and general surgeries on 600 others. According to the organizers, the health camp has been established at Rau Smarak Hospital, Lahan.
