KATHMANDU, Oct 30: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that he would not endorse any ordinance including the one relating to the budget without consensus among the political parties.
At a meeting with Co-Chairman of Rastriya Janashakti Party Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani Tuesday afternoon, the president said that he was in favor of a decision taken through broader political consensus.
“There must be consensus on all issues, including the budget,” Lohani quoted the president as saying. “Parties must forge consensus both on political and economic issues. There is no alternative to consensus,” Lohani further quoted the president as saying.
