CHITWAN, Nov 15: A man was killed in an attack by an elephant at Madi-5, Chitwan on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Buddhi Adhikari.

An elephant from the Chitwan National Park attacked Adhikari while he was walking on the road near his house at Pandav Nagar, killing him instantaneously, police said.

Four people have been killed by wild animals in Chitwan this month alone. People have been suffering from elephant rampage since three months.

According to Chitwan National Park, 10 persons have been killed in last fiscal year while two have been killed this year
