KATHMANDU, Nov. 15: On the last day of Tihar festival today, those without sisters received Bhai Tika at Ranipokhari of Kathmandu as per Hindu rituals.

They received tika at the Yamaleswor Temple at Ranipokhari which is only opened for one day a year on this day. Temple priest Ramesh Kapali said his family has been giving tika to the seekers for the past three generations.

His wife Ambika Rayamajhi, sisters Anjali Kapali and Durga Rayamajhi will give tika to those without sisters, he informed
