DADELDHURA, Nov 21: A socket bomb was found at a school in Bajhang, where former prime minister and Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba was scheduled to attend a program, on Wednesday.
Police said the bomb was recovered from the premises of Sunkuda Higher Secondary School where a mass meeting was planned for Thursday. Pamphlets written ‘Come King and Save the Country’ were recovered from the site.
A bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army from Dadeldhura has already left for the site. Deuba is scheduled to address the gathering on November 22 before attending another mass meeting in Chainpur a day later.
