Koilapani to play in B division

REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU: Koilapani Polestar Club of Nawalparasi on Tuesday appealed for financial support to individual donors and corporate houses. According to club´s President Darshan Bhattarai, the team will play in the B division league in the current season and they are in need of financial support.

"The club does not have any resources of its own and we have also submitted our proposal for financial support to some corporate houses as well," Bhattarai said during a press conference on Tuesday.

Koilapani is the first club from outside the capital to play A division football. The club was promoted to A division in 2008 and competed in the A division league for the 2011season. The club was relegated in the very first year. The club had to endure miserable time during its stay in capital following financial crisis.
