Turban Tadka offers a unique dining experience with good food and fun and is also known as "Funjabi Dhaba". Customers can enjoy funny quotes and interesting elements that are seen all over the restaurant while they wait for the food to arrive.

“Besides eating, I have designed the interior of the Dhaba in such a way that customers keep themselves engaged with the theme of the restaurant where they can read various quotes,” said Sokhi. He added the comfortable seating arragement and friendly environment gives the customers a very homely feeling.

The Dhaba offers 35 to 40 different varieties of Punjabi food. The price in the menu starts from Rs 45 to Rs 495 exclusive of VAT and service charge.
“We have opened the franchise of Turban Tadka here in Nepal in order to provide Punjabi taste to the people in Kathmandu at affordable prices,” said Pankaj Jalan, chairman of Herbs and Spices.

Herbs and Spices is planning to open Turban Tadka outlets in major cities across the country in the near future. “As the cost of setting is low as the setting is very simple, we will be opening more outlets in Kathmandu,” said Sokhi.

Sokhi is planning to open 50 outlets in a period of two to three years across the world. “Turban Tadka will be opened in Kolkata on Saturday, and Bombay and one more in Calcutta in January and very soon in Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and Dubai,” said Sokhi.

“As Turban Tadka targets the middle class, we provide different tastes at cheaper prices. We are hopeful that Nepali customers will love visiting the Dhaba,” said Jalan.
