BIRGUNJ, Dec 17: Police seized a huge quantity of marijuana and powder used to make hashish from Paterwa Sugauli VDC in Parsa district on Monday.
According to the District Police Office, Parsa, police seized 2.5 quintals marijuana and 50 grams powder, used to make hashish, while carrying out a raid at three houses at Paterwa Sugauli VDC-3.
A joint team of the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police seized the marijuana.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rajendra Bista, said the police team found the marijuana hidden in a hay stack at the farm behind the house.
