KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Former Chairman of Raj Parishad Standing Committee Keshar Jung Rayamjhi has passed away in capital on Monday evening. He was 93.
Rayamajhi, who had been discharged from Charkhal-based Himal Hospital on Friday, died at home due to heart attack this evening.
Rayamajhi, who was elected as general secretary of Nepal Communist Party from second general assembly, had also served as Education minister after restoration of democracy in 1990.
