SARLAHI, Dec 18: An unidentified group on Tuesday morning shot and robbed a businessman in Gaurishankar VDC of Sarlahi district.

According to inspector Sankar Singh Rawal at Bayalbas Police Station, Suresh Sah, 30, of Ishwarpur VDC-2 was shot at while he was heading towards Mahotari from Gausala.

The group took away his motorbike (Ja 4 Pa 7423) and Rs 110,000 in cash. Police said Sah, who has been admitted to Janakpur Zonal Hospital, is in a critical condition. Security has been beefed up following the incident.
