KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Keshu Khadka was crowned Republica Miss Teen 2012 at the finale of the event organized by Kathmandu Jaycees and held at Army Officers Club, Sundhara on Saturday. Similarly, Monica Sapkota and Ayushma Shrestha were declared first and second runners up.
The 18 participants went through introduction, talent and best dress rounds after which 10 finalists were short-listed. The panel of judges comprising of Sabita Bhandari Baral, Information Commissioner of National Information Commission Nepal; glamor photographer Raj Bhai Suwal; a Winner of Manhunt Nepal and model Mahesh Shrestha, Executive Director of Panchakanya Group, Ujjwal Kumar Shrestha; and Vice President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Malla asked questions to the top 10 finalists after which five were chosen for the final round.

The top five participants were asked questions by chief judge and Managing Director of Nanglo Group of Companies, Gopal SL Kakshapati.
Among the subtitles, Bihani Tamang was declared Miss Friendship; Ambika Singh Miss Photogenic, Alisha Khadka Miss Popular and Ayushma Shrestha won the talent as well as the best dressed rounds. Merina Shrestha and Keshu Khadka were declared Miss Discipline and Miss Personality respectively.
