CHITWAN, Dec 25: Primax International has opened a showroom of Canon cameras in Chitwan. It is the first Canon showroom outside the Kathmandu Valley.
Dinesh Agarwal, marketing manager of Canon, officially inaugurated the showroom on Tuesday.
Surya Bhakta Adhikari, manager of the showroom, said the showroom located at Pulchowk, Narayanghat has on display four different models of Canon cameras priced between Rs 8,500 and Rs 700,000. Besides, they can also buy genuine accessories and spare parts of Canon cameras. The showroom also provides after sales facility.
“We are getting positive response; we have already sold 12 cameras,” said Adhikari.
Agarwal said they decided to open a showroom in Chitwan, keeping in view the growing demand for Canon cameras and accessories there. “Demand from Chitwan had always remained high,” he added.
Primax International is also planning to provide training to customers for up to three days. “We are also planning to sell expensive cameras on installment basis. This will facilitate those who want to own a camera but do not have sufficient money,” Agarwal said, hoping that it would also help boost their sales.
