KATHMANDU, Dec 28: The Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Republican (MPRF-R) leader Jaya Prakash Gupta, who will be released next week after serving a jail term, announced his dissociation from the party, Friday.
In a press statement issued from Dilli Bazaar prison, Gupta has accused Communications minister Raj Kishor Yadav of “kidnapping” the party he had formed. “MPRF-R is no longer my party," he said.
Gupta has alleged that Election Commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav, who was appointed under the Maoist quota had given legal status to the party-led by Yadav under pressure from Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
