SPORTS BRIEFS: NSC for promoting sports at school level

KATHMANDU: National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Yuvaraj Lama opined that Nepali sports would achieve nothing unless it is promoted at the school level. Lama met a delegation of National Private and Boarding School´s Organization, Nepal (NPABSON) on Tuesday and said that NSC has seriously been considering ways to incorporate sports in the school curriculam. A team led by NPABSON President Geeta Rana asked NSC to lobby for including sports as the compulsory subject in schools. NSC has currently been conducting training for sports teachers
