CG Developers opens booking at CG Hills

REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: CG Developers, a housing development company, on Thursday made public models of houses being built at CG Hills in Hattigauda of Kathmandu. The company, a subsidiary of CG Group, is building six different designs of houses at the site.

“We launched the models so that customers can make selections based on the designs they prefer,” Ashish Sharma, general manager of CG Group, told a press meet held in Kathmandu.

The latest housing project of CG Developers is spread over an area of 20 ropanis of land, where 53 houses will be built. These houses will be built on plots of 3.3 aana to 8 aana of land. Currently, construction of 16 houses has been completed, while bookings for 20 houses have already been confirmed.

The company is currently offering the property at Rs 6,500 to Rs 8,000 per square feet. Considering this, each house in the project site will cost at least Rs 13.6 million.

To facilitate customers, the company has also introduced two types of mortgage schemes. Under the first scheme, customers have to make initial payment equivalent to 20 percent of the value of the property, and the rest has to be deposited within the next 30 days. “Customers opting for this scheme will get 10 percent discount on their purchase,” the company said.

Under the second scheme, customers have to initially make a payment equivalent to 10 percent of the total cost of the house. The rest of the payment can be made in installments till the time of transfer of ownership. Those opting for this scheme will be charged an annual interest of 10 percent on the loans, the company said.

“These houses come with modern amenities, so we believe most of the customers will prefer them,” Sharma said.
