KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Police on Thursday arrested Ram Chandra Karki, 23, originally from Betali-3 of Ramechap for allegedly raping a 13-year old Rina Kattel(name changed), from Chardhunge, Naxal.
According to the Metropolitan Police Range Office (MPRO) Kathmandu, Karki, son of Bhim Bahadur Karki, has been detained at Hanumandhoka for further investigation, while the victim has been sent to Maternity Hospital Thapathali medical test.
Likewise police also arrested absconding rapist Suman Shrestha, 24, of Mahadevsthan Thankot from Pthlaiya, Bara on Thrusday. Shrestha was at large after raping a six-year-old Samira Lama, last Wednesday.
