BARA, Jan 4: Police netted Suman Shrestha, who was absconding after raping a five-year-old girl child in Thankot, Kathmandu, from Pathalaiya of Bara on Thursday night.
A team headed by Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Simara, Rajendra Shrestha had arrested Suman, 21, from his house at Pathalaiya where he was hiding after absconding from Thankot.
The arrestee confessed that he had raped the minor when he was there at his relatives in Thankot, said Inspector Shrestha.
