“As soon as we heard the news about people dying of cold in the Terai region, we started working on the clothes collection and donation program. Because we didn’t have much time, we wanted to get these clothes to the ones in need as soon as possible, hence the program was named ‘Instant Relief’,” said Hrishant, one of the organizers.

The members of Facebook page ‘Men’s Room Reloaded’ also volunteered to collect and store the clothes till the time of distribution.

Actress Nisha Adhikari, who is also a member of Rotary Club of Nagarjun, said, “We have collected two pickup van-full of clothes. We are in talk with the local rotary clubs to distribute these clothes in the Terai region as soon as possible. Three of us (organizers) will also be going there to filter and check the fair distribution in all places of the region.”

According to Hrishant, they are also coming up with a follow-up campaign ‘Nyano Maya’ and will be collecting and distributing clothes and blankets.
