  Journalists take out rally in capital

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Journalists took out a rally in the capital, demanding stern action against the killers of Dolakha scribe Dekendra Thapa, on Friday afternoon.

The rally started from outside the Nepal Police Club in Exhibition Road and passed through Putalisadak, Kamaladi and Ratnapark before concluding at the same venue.

The rally was organized by Federation of Nepali Journalists and other journalists’ bodies including Press Chautari and Nepal Press Union.

The participants shouted slogans, demanding press freedom, security for journalists and action against Thapa’s killers.
