Army could have extended the lead had Bauddha´s goalie not blocked Khawas´ spot-kick in the 90th minute. Army was awarded the penalty as Man Bahadur Tamang handled the ball in the area in an attempt to block Khawas´ cross.

Likewise, Zikahe Dodoz and Cheikh Oumar scored a goal each in Friends´ win. Prakash Budhathoki set up a sublime pass for Dodoz beating Bansbari goalkeeper Kishor Giri in the 56th minute and Dodoz headed home from the goal line.

Oumar doubled the tally in the 74th minute in a pass from Jagjeet Shrestha by chipping the ball over Bansbari´s substitute goalkeeper Ajit Prajapati.
