  Colors launches two Android phones

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Colors Mobiles has introduced two Android phones in its X Factor series in the Nepali market.

Teletalk - the authorized distributor of Colors mobile - unveiled X Factor Bold and X Factor Shine amid a function in Kathmandu on Sunday. Rohit Gupta, director of Teletalk, Sanjay Agrawal, CEO of Teletalk and Sahana Bajracharya jointly launched the new sets. In the same program, the company appointed Bajracharya as the brand ambassador for its X Factor series.

“Colors Android phones are developed taking into consideration the need of Nepalis customers. They are easy to use and comes with very affordable price tag,” said Agrawal.

Teletalk is currently selling around 22 models of Colors phones, including Android smartphones, touch phones, bar phones and CDMA phones.

According to the company, the newly introduced X Factor Bold is a high-end Android based dual-SIM smartphone. “It is a perfect device for the gadget lovers who want to switch to a new phone,” the company said in a statement.

The phone supports 3G connectivity and comes with 5-inch 480x800 pixels resolution WVGA capacitive touch screen. It uses 1 GHz processor, Android Ice cream Sandwich 4.0.4 operating system that can be upgraded to Jellybean 4.1 and 512 MB RAM. The phone supports expandable memory up to 32 GB.

The phone has 5 megapixels auto focus camera with flash at the rear and 0.3 megapixels front camera for video calling. It uses 2100 mAH battery.

The phone is available at Rs 18,690 and the company is giving 8 GB memory card along with white leather case free with every purchase.
“X Factor Shine is the next generation Android based smartphone which is specially targeted toward youths who need speed, style, entertainment and connectivity at once,” the company said in the statement.

Shine is also a dual-SIM phone and comes with 4 inch WVGA capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The phone uses 1 GHz processor, 4.0.4 Ice cream Sandwich operating system that can be upgraded to 4.1 Jelly bean operating system and 512 MB RAM. It has 5 mega pixels rear camera and 0.3 mega pixels front camera for video calling. X Factor Shine supports up to 32 GB expandable memory.

X Factor Shine costs Rs 12,500 and customers can get two back covers and 8 GB memory card free with every purchase.
All Colors mobile comes with 1 year warranty in handsets and 6 month warranty in battery.
