TANAHUN, Jan 25: Two people have been killed when a truck veered off the road and plunged into Marsyangdi River at Abukhaireni-7, Tanahun along the Prithvi Hihway on Friday morning.
According to Len Pratap Sen, an Inspector at the area police office, Abukhaireni, the identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
The ill-fated truck (Na Kha 9047) was heading to Abukhaireni from Muglin, Chitwan, when it skidded off and fell some 250 meters down from road, the area police office, Abukhaireni informed.
