RSS

DADELDHURA, Jan. 29: The high-level task force formed to investigate into the bus accident at Rupaskada, Doti, and find out the causes behind the increasing accidents on the Bhimdutta Highway has submitted its report to the government.

The task force concluded that the bad condition of the road, the geographical situation, growing vehicular traffic, procedural weaknesses, lack of proper precautionary measures and unskilled drivers, old vehicles, over speed, and the syndicate system in operating the vehicles, among others, are responsible for the growing number of accidents on this highway, said Coordinator Atmaram Pandey.

The team had already informed that the Rupaskada bus accident that claimed the lives of 31 people happened due to negligence of the driver.

Coordinator of the task force, Pandey, expressed the hope that the government would implement the report immediately
