  BUSINESS BRIEFS: MoAD, PAF sign pact to provide farm services

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: The Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) and the Ministry of Agriculture Development (MoAD) signed an agreement on Wednesday to forge coordination in the programs aimed at providing farm related services to the targeted communities. A press statement issued by the MoAD says Ram Prasad Pulami, joint secretary at the MoAD and Raju Babu Shrestha, executive director of PAF inked the pact which paves the way for exchanging resources, means and technology available in both agencies.

The deal includes ending duplication of programs launched by different agencies under MoAD and those implemented by PAF. Both the sides have also agreed to conduct joint monitoring and review of the programs to evaluate their effectiveness in the targeted areas.

Real launches ´Shubha Bibaha´ offer

KATHMANDU

Cooper generators now in Nepal

KATHMANDU
: Force Construction and Associates has introduced Cooper generators in the Nepali market. According to a press statement issued on Wednesday, Cooper generators have a history of 90 years and are made in India with world class standard. "Cooper generators, which use CRDi technology, has successfully passed EURO IV standard. Cooper generators are available from 15KVA to 180KVA capacity in the Nepali market," said the statement. These generators save up to 15 percent in fuel consumption as well as provide 42 percent lower cost in repair and maintenance in comparison to other generators, according to the company. These generators are 30 percent lighter in weight than other generators and have low voltage fluctuation.
