  No forceful donations: Finance Minister

KATHMANDU, Feb. 1: UCPN-Maoist leader and Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has said no donations have been demanded from businessmen for party general convention.

At a face-to-face program organized at the Reporters Club Nepal here today, he said no force was used for donations except voluntary donations.

He said Rs. 5,000 from each of the 3,500 representatives and observers was collected and party member levy and cooperation will be mobilized. He also said less would be spent to make it austere.
