DHANGADI, Feb 6: Senior CPN-UML leader KP Oli showed willingness to bear medical expenses of a 13-year-old girl suffering from hearing and stomach-related ailments.
Oli who was in Dhagadi to address a gathering organized by opposition parties on Wednesday decided to bear expenses after he learnt that Bhawana Khatri of Ghagale, Doti was not able to undergo treatment due to poverty.
She will be treated in Kathmandu.
Bhawana’s father, a member of the UML Doti District Committee, died falling from a cliff few days ago.
"Bhawana´s father always wished to treat his daughter in a well-equipped hospital," Prem Ale, a UML leader, added, "We are very happy as Oli is fulfilling his wish."
