KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Agitating opposition parties, including Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, held their joint meeting at the NC central office, in Sanepa, Lalitpur, on Thursday.

According to a press statement issued by NC, the meeting assessed their nationwide anti-government protest from January 19 till today. It also called for broader public participation in their protest meet at Tundikhel, in the capital on Friday.

Likewise, the meeting assigned the taskforce, formed earlier, to chalk out the second phase of their protest program, which the statement said will be made public organizing a press conference on February 11.
