HETAUDA, Feb 7: The seventh convention of the UCPN (Maoist) has been extended by a day after the leaders differ on size of the central committee (CC) on Thursday.
According to party spokesperson Agni Sapkota, few leaders demanded that the party reduce the size of the CC from present 141 members. They are demanding a 100-member CC.
The convention has been extended as the party has to settle differences over the issue, Sapkota added.
