  Four-party meet inconclusive, again

REPUBLICA ONLINE

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A meeting of the major four parties--UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Madhesi Morcha--failed to strike a deal on formation of new consensus government on Tuesday, too.

UML leader KP Oli said that the parties discussed all possible alternatives, however, failed to reach to consensus. "We´ll inform the president that we failed to reach consensus," Oli said as leaders prepare to head to president´s office.

The leaders are mulling the UCPN (Maoist) proposal to form a government under sitting chief justice. The opposition parties--NC and UML--have flatly rejected the proposal.
