KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Carlsberg has launched 18:47 campaign to mark its 160 years of history, a press statement of Gorkha Brewery said on Wednesday. According to the statement, 1847 is the founding year of the Carlsberg Bewery and the celebration is a dedication to excellence in brewing into the specific time 18:47.
“The time 18:47 is the perfect time for all consumers to un-bottle a Carlsberg and it will also be a new activation concept to enable the Carlsberg brand into creating its own unique territory of promotions across the premium Carlsberg selling outlets in Nepal,” the statement said.
Paul Oliver Claudepierre, marketing director of Calrsberg, said the activation of 18:47 will contribute to creating an activation that is distinctly unique to Carlsberg.
V Mobile launches new offer
KATHMANDU: V Mobile -- a multibrand showroom for mobiles and laptops -- has launched a ´Discount Dhamaal´ offer. Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, customers will get attractive discounts on mobile sets from various brands like Colors, Karbonn, Samsung, Nokia and Blackberry, among others. The offer is valid throughout the month of February at the V Mobile outlets in New Baneshwar and New Road.
The company will provide its female customers discount coupons at Beauty Biz Zone. "Through the coupon, our female customers can get discount on various beauty-related services from famous make-up artists Binita Maharjan and Bidisha Shakya," said the statement.
Coca-Cola´s Valentine offer
KATHMANDU: Building on Coca-Cola´s philosophy of ´Open Happiness´, Bottler´s Nepal has launched a new communication, encouraging youngsters to share small moments of love this Valentine´s Day. Under the Valentine´s Day offer, customers will get free QFX tickets for a couple on purchase of any three 1.5 liter bottles of Coca-Cola, Fanta or Sprite. The company has also launched TV and radio contests from Monday till Thursday through which participants can win Android phones and QFX couple tickets.
"The contests allow consumers to dedicate a special love messages to their Valentine. The channels will read out the best messages every evening and the two best messages on FM and TV will win an Android phone and 10 best messages on FM and TV will win couples QFX movie tickets. Close Up organizes Love Fest
KATHMANDU: Close Up is organizing three days of non-stop fun full of love at most of the key youth hang outs around Kathmandu Valley. According to a press statement issued by the company, this year´s Close Up Love Fest will feature exciting event at various places. The fun began on February 5 with Close Up´s College Love Fest. The main event is on February 14 to 16. On February 14, the Fest will take place at Sherpa Mall, Civil Mall, Jhamel, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
"Each Fest location on V-Day will have a message board for the lovebirds to write and dedicate a message to a loved one. The best message will win a pair of Samsung phones -- one for the writer and one for the person the message is dedicated," said the statement.
Likewise, February 15 will be Close Up´s Movie Fest at QFX in Civil Mall. Civil Mall is the highlight of Close Up Love Fest 2013 with a full day´s event on 16 February, featuring various programs on all floors including performance by Mt 8848, Naren Limbu and Shine Band, Salsa and B-boying, added the statement.
