KATHMANDU, Feb 22: United Finance organized various programs at different parts of the country on the occasion of its 19th anniversary.
According to a press statement received on Friday, the finance company provided educational materials to 10 students of HIV Sikhshya Sadan as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibilty (CSR) activities.
Basanta Kumar Chaudhary, chairman of the finance, express commitment to support backward community and orphans in the near future as well, the statement said.
Similarly, Pokhara branch of the finance company in association with Rotrary Club, Lekhnath distributed food and cooking utensils to the elderly people of Radha Krishna Bridashram.
Likewise, the company´s Narayanghat branch distributed dustbins to shops in market area with an aim to make the market area cleaner, the statement said.
Butwal branch of the company provided food to Aatma Shanti orphanage in Rupandehi, while the company´s Biratnagar branch provided meal to the elderly people of Panchali Road Bridashram.
The company also felicitated staff members who have been working for it fore more than 10 years. Similarly, the finance company has decided to provide its depositors an additional 0.5 percent quarterly interest in the existing interest rate in saving accounts.
