I think, it is 100% unfair to say, Bhutan refugee are the victims of ethnic cleansing. There are still more than one fifth of the population in Bhutan from Nepali speaking community. Some are holding the position of Ministers, MP, secretaries, security officers etc.I have many friends from Nepali speaking community in Bhutan especially in Royal Bhutan Army.
I don´t think, our Nepali Government will also provide the same benefits to those, who came illegally from
Kudos to the UNHCR and IOM on their genuine work of resettlement program for the Bhutanese refugees who have been living a miserable lives in different camps. Having said that, they also have responsible to look after other refugees sharing the same socio-economic problems and uncertain future in the host country that has been negligent to the issues of the Refugees due to many external influences.
