Tusker havoc at Satasidham

DAMAK, May 6: A herd of elephants has vandalized three houses at Satasidham in the district on Monday.

The houses of Bir Bahadur Neupane, Sita Ram Budhathoki and Bal Kumari Rai of Satsidham were vandalized by the tuskers.

Property worth around Rs 170,000 in the houses was also destroyed, said the Area Police Office, Jhilmile. The herd of tuskers came from the Chure region near to the village and created havoc, said locals.
