KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Hollywood Hair Salon -- a modern hair studio with ambiance and style -- opened up in Sagarmatha Bazzar, Thamel, on Saturday. Exotically decorated with stunning interiors, Hollywood Hair Salon is a full service barbers shop. It offers wide range of services ranging from hair care, to waxing and facial and from pedicure and manicure for both men and women. The studio is spacious and has different sections for sales and advice, washing, dying and special treatments rooms.
“Salons around the city provide services either only for men and women. But we here are for the service of both men and women and kids as well," says Bijay Simkhada, CEO, Hollywood Hair Salon.
Hollywood offers hair cutting service at Rs 100 for kids and men and Rs 150 for ladies. Other services like pedicure, manicure and facial are provided at the range of Rs 200 to Rs 600.
One of the outstanding features of the salon is that it has a special section for kids that sports theme station chairs such as sports cars, airplane and police motorbikes among others.
“The salon will provide professional world-class service, quality products, and hygienic atmosphere to the customers at reasonable prices,” Bijay added.
Promoters of the salon plan to open a chain of ten salons in Kathmandu within a year and later expand their service to India as well.
Inspired by Regis Canada, which operates around 12,000 saloons worldwide, Hollywood promises to provide celebrity status to its customers. The salon is promoted by a non-resident Nepali couple Bijay and Sujita Simkhada.
