Bodies Of Mom And 2 Kids Found |

DOLAKHA, June 25: Bodies of a mother and her two children have been found on the bank of the local Gopikhola river here Monday. The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Bal Kumari Tamang from Gairimuddi VDC- 1, her seven-year-old son Dawadorje Tamang and three-year-old daughter Nima Tamang.
While the incident is still under investigation, police suspect it could be a suicide. The locals had informed the police immediately after spotting the bodies on the bank of the river.
"Our investigation is under way. The dead bodies have already been sent to the district headquarters for autopsy," said police inspector Govinda Jha.
He further added that it could be a case of suicide as Bal Kumari was pregnant. "His husband died two years ago and she had been living with her children. However, according to the locals, it could be a case of suicide as she became pregnant although she was a widow. "However, we will find out the truth," Jha said.
