UML An Emerging Power: UML Chair Khanal
  BUTWAL, June 30: Chairman of the CPN-UML, Jhalanath Khanal, has claimed that his party would emerge vibrant and vigorous by continuing struggles against ultra-leftists and rightists in the country.

Addressing the zonal level gathering of the senior cadres of Lumbini here on Saturday, Chairman Khanal said his party would be the most powerful force in the coming days.

The UML has already canceled the announcement of new election to constituent assembly, he said, adding that the government announced the election date in order to stick to power.

The UCPN-Maoists unilaterally announced the election date, Chairman Khanal blamed, adding that the Maoist had the major role to dissolve the constituent assembly.

Also addressing the gathering, UML secretary Bishnu Poudel said the party would seek solution within the party on the debate on state restructuring.

UML politburo member Surendra Pande said the Prime Minister was just a caretaker one so it was not necessary to demand his resignation.

Central member of the party, Parshuram Meghi Gurung said the UML was never against the federalism.
