Oli Claims He Can Lead Govt Better Than Others |

ITAHARI, Sept 22: CPN-UML leader KP Shama Oli on Saturday said Nepali Congress (NC) should lead the new government.
He said NC deserved the government leadership of the next coalition because political parties had already reached an agreement to this effect.
"In fact, we can form a consensus government if parties agree on NC leadership because it was an understanding reached among the parties in the past," he told reporters here in Itahari.
Oli said he wouldn´t claim the prime ministerial position at present but was quick to claim he can efficiently lead the government if entrusted the responsibility.
"Though I am not claiming the post at present, I am confident I can run the government better than others," he claimed.
He held UCPN (Maoist) responsible over protracted political stalemate in the country saying "they always want to head the government". |
